Pants Off for Prostate Cancer is an edgy and innovative blockbuster fundraising and mandatory "pants off" event that is putting the focus on the below the belt nature of prostate cancer. Guests are required to check their pants at the door and celebrate their new found pantslessness in support of prostate cancer research and awareness and in honour of the hundreds of thousands of men and there families whose lives have been afflicted by this disease.

Representatives from Prostate Cancer Canada, along with sponsors of Pants Off for Prostate Cancer, joined Gary Knight, Vice President, Trading, TMX Group to open the market. Pants Off for Prostate Cancer is an innovative fundraiser that asks guests to check their pants at the door in support of prostate cancer research and awareness and in honour of the men and their families whose lives have been afflicted by this disease. On March 30, 2011 Pants Off 2: Risky Business was held at Burroughes Building in Toronto.

Toronto’s newest and innovative fundraising event, over 250 guests gave the "other cheek" on such a serious disease! On Wednesday March 10th, guests took their pants off for Pants Off for Prostate Cancer; Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among Canadian men, affecting 1 in 6 Canadian men in their lifetime. Guests were required to check their pants at the "pant check" and celebrate the night with "pant-less" abandon. Prizes went to guests with the most original boxers. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer to afflict Canadian man. 1 in 7 Canadian men will be diagnosed with the disease during their lifetime and this number is expected to rise to 1 in 4 within a decade. Nearly 25,500 Canadian men and their families will have to deal with the reality of a prostate cancer diagnosis this year alone.
The good news is that over 90% of prostate cancer cases are curable if detected and treated in their earliest stages, which means that early detection is key. As of age 40, men should have the prostate cancer discussion with their doctor.
All proceeds from Pants Off 3 will benefit Prostate Cancer Canada, which is leading the way in the fight against prostate cancer.
